Assembly of Racks
Precision that connects – Gear Racks for limitless assembly.
Our racks offer versatile mounting options and enable the realization of arbitrarily long distances through their continuous expandability. For the installation of straight and helical racks, specially developed mounting racks are available. For the helical version, we also offer special mounting racks that are equipped with counter-rotating teeth. To ensure that our racks can be seamlessly aligned, they are slightly shortened at the beginning and end regarding the tooth division, creating a small gap between two continuously mountable racks. Additionally, a patented mounting system is available for the particularly precise installation of our ground racks.

Companion Racks for helical and straight toothed racks
Our companion racks are manufactured from heat-treated steel according to ATLANTA standards.
The gearing is hardened using the ATLANTA high-performance hardening process and then ground. They are available in sizes Module 1 to Module 12 and in straight and helical tooth designs.

Precise racks require precise assembly.
The Measuring and Assembly Kit developed and patented by ATLANTA enables highly precise alignment of the tooth division in the area of the joint between two rack gears. By using magnetic measuring rollers and a displacement unit also equipped with magnets, the division of the gearing can be adjusted to an accuracy of up to 25µm in any installation position, thereby ensuring the very high precision of the entire rack drive.
The Assembly Kit is delivered in a case and consists of:
- 1x Rack Adjusting Device
- 3x Magnetic Gauging Rollers
- 1x Messbrücke mit Uhr
In the following video, you will see step by step how a very precise adjustment of the division between 2 rack gears is carried out using the patented ATLANTA Measuring and Assembly Kit. Each work step is clearly demonstrated to illustrate the simple and precise application of our system.
